Stephanie Schlecht, Grossroeda

Becoming a farmer? This was not an option for Stephanie Schlecht at first. Although her family has been running the farm in Altenburger Land since the 1990s, she had other plans. She turned away from these plans, however. Today she feels fortunate that she chose agronomy and the farm. Why? No other profession is so versatile. One has to be familiar with plants and percentages. In addition to the natural sciences, business administration is just as important. Also critical: making decisions and seeing the results concretely. Choose the right seed, for example, and you will see the effects: a good harvest.
