Innovative Seed Processing Technology for Sugarbeet

In seed processing facilites in Germany, the US und Turkey KWS produces around 350 different sugarbeet varieties per year, which are supplied to almost 40 sugarbeet markets worldwide. These three locations guarantee high flexibility and fast and sustainable production of sugarbeet seed. Its excellent quality is ensured by state-of-the-art technology: A fully automated germination speed analyzer and the use of high sensitive computer tomography guarantee early, strong and uniform germination of seeds. Until 2020 KWS plans to invest further 64 million Euro to develop innovative seed processing technology for sugarbeet seed.
