KWS is a family- and value-oriented company. Trust, mutual respect, integrity and sustainability form a stable set of values, which we also implement in our entire supply chain. For generations, we have worked in partnership with our suppliers and service providers. Our aim is to ensure a socially and environmentally sound production of goods and services procured.
In addition, we have expanded internal procurement rules and the General Conditions of Purchase (GCP). Since the 2013/2014 fiscal year, we have undertaken to comply with human rights as well as core labour standards of the International Labour Organisation, labour and environmental protection standards, business ethics, fair market conduct and data protection.
The requirements are bundled in a supplier code of conduct ("Code of Business Ethics for Suppliers"). Compliance with the Code is regularly reviewed by means of audits or annual meetings.
