Production & Research Complex Progress
Construction across the Kimberly Greenhouse Expansion Project continues to advance steadily through key spring milestones. Insulated metal panel installation on the Vernalization buildings is now complete, marking another significant step toward readiness for interior staging. Floor sealing in these areas is scheduled for the week of April 13th; following that, crews will assemble a vernalization bench mock‑up to support upcoming testing and system coordination efforts.
Water connections to the existing Headhouse are planned to begin this week. Meanwhile, Extreme Excavation is actively preparing pathway curbs and the generator pad, continuing asphalt preparation processes, and initiating backfill work for ADA stairwells.
Disease Complex Progress
Inside the Disease Complex, benching assembly continues to progress. The Insectary now has its benching fully installed, creating a functional foundation for upcoming research operations.
Interior progress in the Disease Headhouse also remains strong. The Rhizoctonia lab is nearing completion, with crews making significant headway on interior finishes and preparation for equipment integration.
