Newly recommended this year, Hinsta is one of a new generation of hybrids from KWS which include bolt on traits that the innovative farmers expect. Hinsta is recommended in the East/West only with a high gross output (106%) and high oil content of 46.1%. It has medium maturity, later to flower, has the pod shatter gene and good resistance to lodging ([8.0]). Hinsta has above average early vigour. With regards to disease resistance Hinsta has a strong package with a 7 for Light leaf spot and 5 for stem canker, as well as resistance to TuYV resistance. Trials have shown that Hinsta has outstanding tolerance to Verticillium Stem Stripe.
