Inys is KWS’s first 6-row hybrid, delivering outstanding yield performance in both the East (108%) and the North (107%). It offers a strong, well-balanced disease profile, scoring 7 for mildew, 6 for rhynchosporium and brown rust, and 5 for net blotch. Inys is early to mature (-1 day compared with LG Caravelle), making it an excellent entry for oilseed rape, and it produces a high specific weight of 69.6 kg/hl. The variety is exceptionally stiff-strawed, with a lodging resistance score of [8] without PGR and 7 with PGR. Inys also stands out for its excellent standing power, recording the lowest brackling percentage (9%) of all hybrid barley varieties.
