On September 26, 2007, the Deutsche Bank AG, D-60325 Frankfurt, for its subsidiary DWS Investment GmbH, D-60327 Frankfurt, in accordance with §§ 21 (1), 24 WpHG in conjunction with § 32 (2) InvG, sent the following message:

We hereby inform you, in accordance with §§ 21 (1), 24 WpHG in conjunction with § 32 (2) InvG that our subsidiary DWS Investment GmbH, Mainzer Landstrasse 178-190, 60327 Frankfurt, exceeded the threshold of 3% voting rights of KWS SAAT AG, Grimsehlstrasse 31, 37555 Einbeck, on September 24, 2007 and now holds 2.94% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 194,000 voting rights).
