As part of the review of your request, we process and transmit, where necessary, the following personal and project-related data:
Personal data
- Name and address of the organization, company or association
- First and last name
- Contact details (email address, telephone number)
Project-related data
- Additional personal information voluntarily provided in the form
3. Purpose of Data Processing
Your data is processed and, where applicable, disclosed exclusively for the purpose of:
- reviewing and assessing your donation or sponsorship request; and
- coordinating possible support, particularly in the context of a joint engagement
For this purpose, it may be necessary to share your information with the AKB Stiftung (family foundation) in order to enable a joint assessment and decision-making process.
4. Legal Basis
The processing and disclosure of your data are carried out on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
5. Recipients of the Data
Your data will only be transmitted to the bodies responsible for the review:
- internal departments of the KWS Group
- AKB Stiftung (family foundation) as part of the joint review
No further disclosure will take place.
6. Storage Period
Your data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated above:
- Rejection of the request:
Deletion generally within 12 months after completion of the review
- Approved projects:
Storage for the duration of the cooperation and thereafter in accordance with statutory retention obligations (usually up to 10 years)
7. Withdrawal of Your Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal may be made informally, for example by email to:

The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the time of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right to:
- obtain information about your stored data
- rectify inaccurate data
- erase data or restrict processing
