Exhibition by Philipp Valenta in the rooms of NEWCOMER

Since conceptual artist Philipp Valenta received a Goethe-Institut residency scholarship for Iceland in 2018, he has been investigating the country's relationship between economy and ecology, analysing and questioning critical phenomena and processes, some of which extend far beyond the borders of the state. In his multimedia and expansive works, Valenta succeeds in finding images and sounds for these frictions, oddities, and problems. The ostensibly humorous title of the exhibition is interpreted in its fatalism and shows that not everything is "bara gaman - just fun".

bara gaman will be open on Friday, 10.12.21 from 3 to 6 pm. Visitors are cordially invited to take in the artist's conceptual works, considering the current corona conditions.

From Saturday 11.12.21 NEWCOMER will be closed due to the current situation.

Until 29.1.22, bara gaman will enrich the exhibition spaces of the NEWCOMER KWS Art Lounge and the NEWCOMER KWS Art Workshop at Tiedexer Straße 20 in Einbeck. In addition, an online version will be available on the KWS Art homepage.
