myKWS online agricultural forums

Einbeck, November 13, 2020

KWS agricultural forums offer farmers the opportunity to obtain information about topics relating to crop production, farming management and animal husbandry. Due to the coronavirus situation, KWS is offering the forums online as live events in December this year.

“Lasting about 90 minutes each, the events will highlight topics such as crop production, cattle and pig farming, biogas, and organic farming, with the focus in each case on rapeseed, corn, cereals, sugarbeets and cover crops,” says Philip Jung, who heads marketing for KWS’s corn unit in Germany. KWS has already had very positive experiences with the new concept of presenting activities as Teams live events while holding various field days online. As was done in recent years at the standard agricultural forums, KWS experts will discuss practice-oriented topics while speakers from the agricultural industry and the business community will make brief presentations. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions through the chat function. “Our agricultural forums have always included lively discussions and exchanges, so we’ve allocated extra time for the chats.” Jung says. Separately registering for each date is not necessary. In advance of the forums, KWS will provide a link on the landing page www.kws.de/agrarforen where everyone who is interested can dial into the event.
