SAKA RAGIS plant breeding on new paths

The two main shareholders of the SAKA RAGIS Group, Dr. Kartz von Kameke and KWS SAAT AG, have agreed that on July 1, 2007, KWS will transfer its shares in SAKA RAGIS to Dr. K. von Kameke.

The business of SAKA RAGIS will continue under the name SaKa. KWS is also still connected to SaKa through joint research projects. SaKa and its sales organization Solana intend to further expand their domestic and international market activities.

Through the above agreement, the new SaKa Group will be
run as an independent company of the Kameke family for the next generation. The long-standing company name RAGIS remains with KWS SAAT AG.
