Christian Holze explores the connections and interfaces between art, technology and business and poses questions about authorship, commercialization and copying in the visual arts. In his works, he combines 3D graphics, photography, painting, sculpture and installation to create hybrids. “Meeting Room” is the title of the exhibition that opened on February 16.

MINT-EC student camps at XLAB Göttingen - KWS supports as a business partner

The XLAB, Göttingen's experimental laboratory for young people, organised two "Transgenic Plants" student camps in 2021/2022 together with the MINT-EC school network and KWS as a business partner, with the aim of giving young people an insight into the objectives and methods of modern plant breeding. In addition to experimenting with various transformation technologies in the laboratory, a knowledge-based discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of green genetic engineering in relation to sustainable agriculture was one of the main focuses of this camp.

Dear students, The future and education of young people are important to KWS as an international plant breeding company with roots in southern Lower Saxony. In the last two years, the Future Day at KWS unfortunately could not take place as an in-person event due to the coronavirus pandemic. As we are not yet able to offer a place to all interested students again this year, we would like to take the opportunity to give you a digital insight into the various exciting professional fields at KWS - from IT to mechanics, electronics and commercial professions to plant technology.
