As a Ukrainian, Daria Koltsova engages deeply with the war in her homeland. She creates sculptures using materials such as glass and metal, assembling them into moving installations. These works tell her personal story and create powerful metaphors for destruction, resilience, and hope.
Today, she lives and works in various locations across Europe and Ukraine.
Daria Koltsova was awarded the Goslar Kaiserring Fellowship for 2024, a prize that has been presented by the Association for the Promotion of Modern Art since 1984 and supported by the AKB Foundation in Einbeck since 2014.
As part of this fellowship, the artist opened her exhibition at the Mönchehaus Museum in Goslar in October 2024.
On Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 6:30 PM, Daria Koltsova invites guests to the opening of her exhibition “As the stars fell on me” at the NEWCOMER KWS Art Lounge in Einbeck.
