Einbeck, February 27, 2020: KWS is now offering an innovative digital service: Crop Manager is an electronic tool that supports farmers in managing their varieties, including planning and optimizing crop rotation. The tool also provides key profitability figures for operations and the opportunity to directly compare and contrast multiple approaches to crop rotation. The system is presently only available in Germany, but a rollout to additional countries is planned.

Einbeck, February 25, 2020: Total net sales up by 14% – Highly dynamic growth at the Vegetables and Cereals Segments. The KWS Group (ISIN: DE0007074007) increased its net sales in the first six months of 2019/2020 by 14.0% to €329.6 million, of which €44.3 million came from vegetable seed. Its operating income (EBIT) in the first half of the year is typically negative and was € –92.0 (previous year: –76.6) million. EBITDA improved slightly to € –50.8 (–51.8) million.

New KWS location opens in Berlin

Einbeck/Berlin, February 17, 2020: With a ceremonial hand-over of the keys, the plant breeding company KWS officially moved to its new office last Friday. The new facility referred to as “KWS Kontor” is centrally located at the corner of the Potsdamer Straße/Bülowstraße streets in Berlin-Schöneberg and will offer room for around 350 employees in the future.

Einbeck, December 17, 2019: Dividend rises to €0.67 per share – Guidance for the 2019/2020 fiscal year confirmed. The shareholders of KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE0007074007) voted by clear majorities in favor of the proposals made by the Executive and Supervisory Boards on all items on the agenda at today’s Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in Einbeck. A dividend of €0.67 (previous year: €0.64) per share will be paid out for fiscal 2018/2019. The guidance for the current fiscal year 2019/2020 has been confirmed without any changes.

Joint project between Ilmebahn and KWS: Additional Otto-Hahn-Straße train stop opened in Einbeck

Einbeck, December 12, 2019: Following reactivation of the train route between Einbeck and Salzderhelden in 2018, an additional stop is now available to the public at Otto-Hahn-Straße in the area near the eastern entrance to the city of Einbeck. The project was implemented in a joint effort by the infrastructure operator Ilmebahn GmbH and the plant breeding company KWS. The grand opening took place on Sunday, Dec. 15, and was accompanied by an Advent train from the Deutsche Bahn.
