Maxim Gunga – Grüne Blaupause
Maxim Gunga is a painter who explores the dynamic interplay between urban and rural environments. His works, characterized by a powerful brushstroke, draw on the neo-expressionist tradition of the 1980s while remaining firmly rooted in the present. With his concept of the “Green Blueprint,” he investigates the integration of agricultural spaces into urban settings, creating a visual link between nature and the city.
During three intensive stays in Einbeck and its surroundings, Gunga immersed himself in the structures of modern agriculture. His paintings depict the fusion of urban and rural motifs, inspire new ways of thinking, and raise awareness of sustainable agricultural models. Viewers of his work are invited to reflect on the complex relationship between humans and nature.
His 15 new works can be seen in the NEWCOMER KWS Art Lounge until August 13.
